Local electrical workers endorse John FitzGerald for Boston City Council District 3
IBEW Local 103 stands behind John FitzGerald as an advocate for working families
Boston – Local 103 IBEW, the largest and most politically-active electrical workers’ union, endorsed John FitzGerald for Boston City Council District 3. FitzGerald has demonstrated his commitment to public service and has a track record within mayoral administrations and the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA). With the support of IBEW Local 103, FitzGerald brings advocacy for working families and a prosperous vision for District 3.
“John FitzGerald’s dedication to the needs of working families, combined with his experience in public service, make him the ideal candidate for District 3,” said Lou Antonellis, the Business Manager, Local 103 IBEW. “We stand behind John, and are proud to endorse him in this race.”
A resident of Adams Village, FitzGerald draws inspiration from his late father, Mission Hill state representative Kevin Fitzgerald, who tirelessly served his district and left an indelible mark on the community. With a commitment to providing the same level of dedication and support for the people of District 3, FitzGerald’s familial legacy fuels his passion.
FitzGerald’s career spans ten years as a project manager for the Boston Planning and Development Agency, and a key role in the transformative planning effort known as Imagine Boston 2030. With his experience and deep understanding of City Hall, FitzGerald is equipped to navigate the landscape of government and spearhead positive change in District 3.
